Contemporary Christian band Seven Years will perform a free concert featuring songs from their debut album, “Time to Change,” on Sunday October 12, 6:00 p.m. at Village Church in Burbank, 3216 W. Victory Boulevard.
“Time to Change” represents several years of effort culminating in an eclectic album of songs written by J. Suthern Hicks and Justin Sheehy. They will also be covering popular tunes by The David Crowder Band and MercyMe.
Leading the contemporary indie band is Michele Suh Wood, a professional violinist with a master’s degree in Violin Performance from the University of Southern California. After realizing that there were few if any bands for the Christian audience in Southern California as most are now based in and around Nashville, she decided to fill the void here in Los Angeles.
Seven Years is comprised of San Fernando Valley-based musicians Michele Suh Wood on violin, Koorosh Daryaie on percussion, Ken Hilton on saxophone and keyboard, Travis Mikels on bass, Alex Araujo on guitar, and Cole Williams and Shyvonne Johnson on vocals.
“Time to Change” is available on iTunes, amazon.com as well as other retail outlets. For more information, links to music and music videos, please visit www.musicofsevenyears.wordpress.com.
